Today was FANTASTIC!!!!

I am seriously giddy with happiness. Haha. There was a pep rally at school today and it was GREAT! Which is actually a shock since the Talentettes [however you spell it] find it just impossible to get their crap together! It's either their music malfunctioning, a girl about 4 beats behind, or and over energetic girl who is inches from wacking someone in the face! Geez. Don't they have weeks to practice for this? And it's in front of the entire school? I'm sorry, but that's too embarassing, even for me. Especially when they started getting booed. Ouch. But anyway, today it was the whole "Senior Rally", where only the seniors and their parents preform. The Talentettes FINALLY had their stuff together and they were really cute with their moms; the senior cheerleaders did better than their usual stiff and mechanic routine; the drill team was just...um...great. haha. But it was a really krunk rally. Last of the year! I was standing with my friends in the main section, in the front. I even danced. Yup. Kodak moment. Because it will never happen again. lol.

I think I did okay on my Algebra 2 test, which will definitely help my grade. Thankfully. =]

Of course there is the issue of boys. [as always. oh boy]
I'm trying to focus on school. I can't afford to fail now. Juinor year? That will not be good.

I'm meeting my friend Charles [sort of my step dad] to go over my poems and see how many qualify for my manuscript. I'm thinking about writing some new stuff so I'll be meditating this weekend between shopping for my costume and going trick-or-treating/partying with Courtney, one of my best friends.

I sent a few poems to Ashley and hopefully, she's working on them. I'm in no rush since she's in college and has her own life. Oh, college life. I can only imagine what that will be like.

One word: Paradise.
The day I wake up before the sun rises to go to class-the world will be coming to an end. Literally.

Um...for all of you who read my literature [bless your souls], I'm still meditating on Running with Wolves. I have writer's block and it sucks because I can think of things to do after a couple of chapters but nothing now! Terriffic. Still working on it though-I haven't forgotten. ;)

OMG!

I am a very happy Sydney :D This awesome, kick ass blog is the work of EMO! (aka Tayter Tots) She is soooo talented and truly gifted with the art of understanding the computer. I usually don't know what the heck I'm doing. Haha.

Today has not been a good day at all. I have so much to do and so little time to do it! I have my Alegebra 2 project, Algebra 2 chapter 4 review, English abbrieviated essay, History notebook (about 6 or so chapters) and I do believe I have a Physics assignment due Monday too. Geez. I am still failing and NOT HAPPY about that!

I don't think my Physics grade should be held against me if I can't even understand a word my teacher says! He mumbles and studders and i'm telling you-Erkel would've been PROUD of his wardrobe! I'm not the only that's failing. And it's only because of those darn tests! All those A's and B's CRUSHED by a lousy 30 on the test. Or was it a 46? Either way, I admit, it's bad. Really bad. I'm going to try to do better.

And for those who read my literature (bless your soul), I updated Everlife. FINALLY! Haha. I think you guys will like it, but I'm not so sure. Some of my favorite quotes are in this chapter so hopefully it'll meet your standards.

Published Determination

Okay, I know I haven't been posting much. And well, that is because I have been talking to publishers and one actually emailed me back! Ah! They want me to send them my manuscript for my poetry book! So exciting! I plan on letting my friend, Ashley, draw pictures for the cover of my book and stuff. So I'll have to give her copies of my poems to work off of. This is alot to be taking on for a teenager. Whoo! But I'm excited! I have to talk to alot of people and get some advice on which one of my poems will kill it. haha. Wow, so much to do! Well, I have also figured out I am flunking like, 4 classes! Ouch. I have to fix that if I'm going to have any chance of focusing on my book and getting an agent. Mom's all, "school should always be your first priority." Well it is...right after publishing my book. =)

Yes, I have a blog. The result of true boredom. Haha. I guess I needed a place to vent and say really random and insane things that come to mind without being looked at like I'm a mental patient. But don't you just love those looks? The attention is flattering. Haha.

My name is Sydney =) For some odd reason, I like going by Syd. My whole name just feels...awkward. And a bit formal. I'm extremely shy at first, but don't be fooled. Once you get to know my, I'm pretty much insane and totally out-there, but apparently that's kewl. Eh. Who knew? I like random dancing to scooby doo songs, messing with my sister cause I'm bored, writing poems and stories (maybe you've read one.), hanging out with my friends. I love making people love and hate it when they're sad. I also don't get along well with people who are CONSTANTLY negative. Seriously. Keep that to yourself.
So yup! That's me. lol.
