One thing I've realized is being an author is all about connections and support. Connections to those who are already published, getting published and or have been contracted to an agent or publishing company can go a long way to getting yourself recognized and published. You want to use your social skills and chit chat about what route they used to get where they are and ask them questions I'm sure they were thinking themselves.
Something that will continue to bug me is the fact that rarely will the extremely successful authors take the time to help support authors just trying to make it. Did someone not take time out of their day to help you when you were a struggling rookie? Is it really that difficult for you to repay the favor to someone who could really use that extra pinch of approval to keep on writing? Maybe, it's just me but I try my best to participate in my readers' stories, commenting and even being in a couple which takes me by surprise every time. (Maybe that's the point. Shrugs)
My goal as a writer is to get my book accepted in Barnes and Noble. Silly I know, but unless you either take a really close look or you're an aspiring author, you don't really notice that Barnes and Noble is the elite. All their books are either on the New York Bestseller List, an award winning book, or good enough to be an award winning book in the near future. If Barnes and Noble has accepted your book, you have officially made your half way point. You'll have officially made it when you're relaxing at him, writing material to show your agent as you are getting paid. Another thing me and my friends discussed, is probably better to ask the publishing company that contracted you to supply an agent, because that means the company is paying them and not you. If you get your agent on your own, there is a good chance you will be paying your agent from your own pockets...ouch.
In other exciting news: I WILL BE SINGING IN PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON THURSDAY!
Needless to say, I'm scared shitless. lol. But I think I'm going to be okay. Just gotta relax and not freak out from now to then.
I AM SOOOOOOOO READY FOR SCHOOL TO BE OVER! I still have this week and two final exams next week. AGH. I'll be a senior next year; that's where the real fun begins(:

Back on the Bandwagon(:
Hey folks! I'm back! School is being handled with the usual headache and with summer coming up, I really want to get active in my writing. I already have several projects in the works that I'll keep you updated on.
First is of course, my EXPERIMENTAL series called The Inhumane Series. It starts off with Everlife, which is posted on both Fanfiction.net and The New Twilight Saga though it is non Twilight and original. Some have related it to Evermore from the Immortal series and a few Twilighted situations, but I add my own twists and am not planning to get this published. Just to test my limits and see where I can take this. Who knows?
After Everlife is Shadowed Fate, the second book to the series that I have not started yet but have mounting ideas by the day. I have yet to think of a title for the third book but I have enough on my plate.
Second is Please Remember Me, my surprisingly successful fanfiction from Twilight's New Moon. It is about Bella and how she jumps off the cliff and loses her memory and all recollection of the Cullens and even the Wolf Pack.
Third is my own little project I just randomly wrote-which is the basic story for most of my stories, called Diary of Me. It is about a girl who goes suicidal after the death of her twin and her mother but when new people start to come into her life and show her there is much to live for, she might reconsider. Yes, this is a gothic, sad and revealing story but I highly recommend you give it a chance. It shows you that there is hope when you truly hit rock bottom. And it can seem inspirational. Don't write off stories you think are depressing before you actually read them. Look beyond what you see and absorb the underlying message.
Fouth, haha yes I have a fourth, is Blade of a Dragonfly, a story I'm doing with my best friend Lauren. It is completely original and something we're writing together with no thoughts of publishing but we'll see.
And on top of that, I'm entering a contest I read from IAK's blog about her own original project she was writing herself. I think she will be brilliant. We're in different genres this time, since I might enter a chapter of Diary of Me; which classifies as Fiction-Goth and she will mostly be in the Fiction-Fantasy-Young Adult. But I wish her the best of luck!
In other news:
I am back to talking to publishers about my poetry. I'm writing more often and just need to shift from my projects, to poems. There's one I wrote a while ago and found recently in my room. It has potential-once it's edited. haha. But since the deadline for the contest isn't that far away, I'm going to focus on that, whether I dig up a killer short story (and let's face it. Short stories are not my forte. That's basically what Into the Dark was suppose to be and it ended up being fifteen or so chapters with a sequel, Blood Bonds. But eh. I'll try) or a chapter to my latest project that I kindda wanna publish but have no idea how I'm going to finish-though I'm determined. it's just out of my comfort zone which is really good, but it will take an incredible amount of commitment and long hours to put me in "the zone".
I plan on updating Everlife and the Inhumane Series as often as I can; I will be updating PRM once a month (at least until summer folks!) and as for my other projects...I'll keep you posted.
I have SO many tests to take it's nuts! I'm applying for college so I can take college courses as a senior (excited and dreading)
My To Do List:
TSI exam (needed to get in college)
State testing (3 of them to be exact)
AP Exam (oh fun)
SAT (in about a week now-it's practice)
Pratice AP Exam on the net. (has essays and all)
Read book for English and write essay.
Test in Physics (must study!)
Recital in Choir
Audition for Chorale
Submit story for the contest.
I love being busy(: [That wasn't sarcasm]

I have LOVED this girl ever since I saw her on American Idol. I knew she was too good to stay down long.

Maxed Out
Okay, I now know what it feels like to be minutes away from having a cardiac arrest at the age of 17. I have way too much stress on my shoulders right now. Besides the fact that I have writer's block for one of my favorite stories that is also going down south; I can't find the time to sit, relax and reply to my other story that's being a strain because too much is going on-I have school.
Agh.
My speech that is a HUGE chunk of my grade and also FOUR minutes in front of a class of kids, STARING at you because they have nothing better to do is MONDAY. One day away. Oh, and did I mention I had to write an essay and MEMORIZE it for the speech? It's a four page essay. Yeah. Three pages when its single spaced.
Then on top of that, my Choir teacher is INSANE. He expects us to memorize German and French pieces by TUESDAY. Really now? I took Spanish for two and a half years. Do you really think GERMAN is going to stick?
Agh.
Now add Algebra 2 and this new unit that we're working on. I aced the last test...now I'm not so sure. And I don't have time-nor the will- to go to tutoring because quite frankly, it's gotten to the point that I don't even want to look at school or even hear my teacher's voice sometimes. I'm so sick of this. And the weekends aren't long enough.
I have a reading assignment that I have to draw a comic strip for; TAKS test is on Wednesday...Agh. Three hours of testing for a JOKE. I don't even know why we bother anymore. My Pre-AP History class LAUGHED at the TAKS test when we got it. It was ridiculously easy.
Really, teachers and parents don't understand the position we're in. This isn't the old days. This isn't when having a fourth science or taking speech, BCIS, or any other ridiculous class was an option. This is NOW. Life tribulations, drama, being a teenager period AND school crap is HARD to do twenty four seven. Summer doesn't come fast enough and I swear, I will scream!
Thanks for listening to my vent(:

Driving = Happy
Okay, so who hasn't seen New Moon? It's quite remarkable how it's only been out for a total of 2 days and everyone has seen it. haha. I loved it, ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! I prefer to seperate the movies from the books because the movies are just so far off it's ridiculous. But the movie itself was spectacular! I predict I will see it even more times than I saw Twilight when it hit theaters a year or so ago. And I saw Twilight a total of 6 times in the theaters, and that's not including how many times I've seen it on the internet. Yes, obssession. But can you blame me? Nope.
I still have to see it again with my mother and my little sister this coming weekend I think and that thrills me! EEEEEEEP! haha.
My dad took me driving again today and I was wwwwaaayyyy too sharp on those turns. lol And fast. But I was able to get in a few good turns. I stayed in my own lane-partially because my dad scared me, telling me if I went out of my little white line I would die instantly. wow. I still don't have a permit but hopefully that's coming!
I must give Duskwatcher her props. She is a talented and unbelievable writer. It's amazing. If you haven't read her story on Fanfiction.net, A Litany At Dusk, READ IT! It will have your eyes glued to the screen, I promise you.
I have recently discovered a very kewl site called MyVampFiction.com and I REALLY want to post a story there but that means I'll need to write some new material between Everlife and RWW so that may take me awhile. But I'm totally psyched to do it so yay!
I'm kind of leaning towards making Everlife into a novel and trying to get it published. It's not nearly done but I fully plan on finishing it as my life mission. lol. Working on chapter 17 as we speak! I know it's taking a minute, but I'm also working on RWW and I'm STUCK! Gah, I hate writer's block more than technology.
Updates: Zelch. lol. Sorry. I'm working on it, I swear!
Song of the day: Apologize by One Republic
Love that song! I wonder why they say it's by Timbaland featuring One Republic when you barely hear him on the track...hmmm.

"Things are looking up"
Today was SO MUCH better than yesterday! It feels good to breathe though I have a history project and a physics online paper to do before school tomorrow and it's 9:15 PM. I had spent the last hour or so, fighting with the printer and shredder because apparently technology and I don't mix. At all.
I officially repel technology!
Except my phone..and well, itouch too. But everything else-agh! I swear that printer hates me. lol
I can't wait until tomorrow! I'm going to see New Moon with my friends then after we're going to Chilli's (my favorite restaurant) and then me and a few of the girls are spending the night over my best friend, Courtney's house. FUN! haha. I can't wait!
Updates: Everlife was updated Wednesday: Denial ch.16! Is it weird I'm amazed I made it to chapter 16? lol. And I am working on RWW.
I've decided to post Midnight Awakening on Fanfiction.net. Hopefully I'll get good reviews!
hmph. Short post today. That's a first. XD

Positive or None.
Okay, too much is going wrong and so little is going right. There is so much drama and issues that are weighing me down and THEY ARE NOT EVEN MINE! Really. It's beginning to depress me and my friends leaving isn't exactly helping the cause. I'm still going to update Everlife and RWW and I'll still RP but that is it. I will rarely be on Twitter-still thinking of deleting it but I might need it someday. Facebook I will keep that way i stay in touch with everyone. And you can always email me at kewl.dude_rawk@yahoo.com But I need major positivity. No negativity. At all.
Things with me have been good though. My grades in school (most importantly my AP classes) have been improving which is good since I've been working my butt off.
What I really need right now is my friends but they have issues of their own. Which is life so...yeah.
Oh, and did i mention I got a 100 on my AP History quiz? I DID! EEEEEEEEP! Hardly anybody passes those things and I ACED IT! Kick ass!
Song of the day: Can you help me by Usher.
Kindda old. From his album 1802 (or is it 1807? eh. I never know) but I highly recommend you give it a try!
